Franklin Police join Home Base First Responder No-Shave November Campaign

The Franklin Police Department will join other area departments in the 3rd annual No-Shave November Campaign. November 1, 2017 is the official start to the Home Base First Responder No-Shave November Campaign. MBTA Transit Officer, Purple Heart recipient, and former Home Base patient Kurt Power embarks on a month-long journey to support Home Base and honor his fallen brothers through the No-Shave November campaign.Officers and other First Responders pledge to forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation, raise awareness and break the stigma associated with post-traumatic stress (PTS) and other invisible wounds of war.
