Media Release, E Central Street Pedestrian Crash

Media Release
On Friday January 20th at approximately 17:50hrs the Franklin Police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in the area of East Central Street, by Cross Street.
A 42 year old male from Millis, Massachusetts was identified as the injured pedestrian, and was treated by Franklin Fire Department paramedics, and then transferred to UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester by helicopter (LifeFlight) for further treatment. The operator of the vehicle remained at the scene, and was identified by officers as a 71 year old female from Plainville, Massachusetts.
This crash remains under investigation by the Franklin Police Crash Reconstruction Unit. The names of the involved parties are not being released at this time.
