Public Records Requests

Massachustts law allows the public access to a great amount of records generated by Government agencies. The Franklin Police Department seeks to provide as much information as we are legally allowed, in a timely manner. In January of 2017 a new law governing public records went into effect. The Franklin Police Department is aware of these changes, and has made changes to this site to be in full compliance.

Our daily press logs, and monthly arrest reports are available here, and no request is needed to access them.If you need more information from our records division, such as crash reports, or incident reports, please use our online request system.

The online records request system can be found here.
