Veterans Memorial Walkway Project Update

Work on the Veterans Memorial Walkway is slated to begin this August with a goal of completing installation of Phase I of the project by Veterans’ Day 2018.

Thank you to all who have purchased commemorative bricks to honor a special veteran or current servicemember. Veterans and those currently serving in the military do not have to be Franklin residents to be honored with an inscribed brick.

Brick sales will continue until all bricks have been sold.

A Walkway dedication ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, November 11 on the Town Common. Details will be published when they are available.

We also want to thank our generous benefactors. This project wouldn’t be possible without your support. Donations will be accepted until the project is completed. All funds raised will be used for construction of the project. Residual funds will go towards the maintenance of the Walkway and to the Franklin Veterans’ Fund.
