Vernal Pools and How to Report

Are you constantly hearing frog calls or seeing salamanders and gelatinous masses in shallow water? If so, we'd love to hear from you! The Town of Franklin is looking for vernal pools and would love your help.

To report a vernal pool, please email the Conservation Agent/Natural Resource Protection Manager here with the location of potential Vernal Pool. Please include as much detail as possible such as street name, cross street, waterbody name, business name, etc. Due to the delicate nature of the masses and wildlife, please do not contain, pick up, carry, or remove them.
