The Town of Franklin Recreation Department is always looking for good volunteers to assist in organizing and supervising youth programs. Either as a coach, ref, gym monitors, or program coordinators.

Criminal Offender Record Information-CORI
The Recreation Department is certified by the Criminal History Systems Board (CHSB) to access Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI). This authorization is conferred pursuant to M.G.L c. 6 172H, which mandates organizations primarily engaged in providing activities or programs to children 18 years of age or less, that accept volunteers to obtain all CORI's on volunteers prior to volunteer service.

Pursuant to M.G.L c. 6 172H, organizations primarily engaged in providing activities or programs to children 18 years of age or less, that accept volunteers are entitled to all existing CORI. This includes pending case, conviction, and non-conviction criminal case data. Information obtained under this section shall not be disseminated for any purpose other than to further the protection of children
