Chair of Honor

At the Senior Center

The Chair of Honor Program

The unoccupied POW/MIA chair is displayed to honor the 100,000 service members who remain unaccounted for since World War I.

The chair symbolizes that our nation continues to actively seek, locate and identify Prisoners of War or those who are Missing in Action and let them know there will always be a place for them when they return home.

The Chair of Honor is currently displayed on the first floor of the Senior Center near the elevator.
