Senior Tax Work-off Program
The Senior Tax Work-Off Program provides eligible seniors with the opportunity to reduce their property taxes by working 1400 hours in various town departments. Available positions are located throughout the town, including the Senior Center, Municipal Building, Library, DPW, Recreation Department, and several schools. We aim to match participants with roles where they can thrive and make a meaningful contribution. For more information please visit the Senior Tax Work-off Program page on the website.

Veterans Tax Work-off Program
The Town of Franklin sponsors a Veterans' Property Tax Work-Off Program. Applicants must be Veterans as defined by state law and provide a DD214 or equivalent discharge paperwork. Surviving spouses of Veterans are also eligible. For more information please visit the Veterans & Local Taxes page on the website.

Recreation Department Volunteer Opportunities
The Town of Franklin Recreation Department is always looking for good volunteers to assist in organizing and supervising youth programs. Art on the Table: Community Cultivation
Art on the Table is an exciting new initiative presented by the Department of Arts, Culture & the Creative Economy. This (free) series of quarterly workshops brings together Franklin Community Members in the spirit of volunteerism, relationship nurturing and shared purpose among participants.
