Community Collaborations

The Franklin Cultural Council (FCC) plays a vital role in supporting arts and culture by distributing state-funded grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to local artists, educators, and organizations.

Working alongside the Franklin Cultural District Committee, the FCC helps foster a thriving creative community through overlapping initiatives such as funding public art projects, supporting cultural programming, and enhancing arts education. This collaboration extends to community partners and the Town of Franklin, ensuring that events like public art installations, farmers' market performances, and other cultural programs receive the necessary resources and visibility.

By aligning efforts with the Department of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, the FCC contributes to initiatives like "A-Wreath-of-Franklin" and the development of the upcoming cultural symposium reinforcing Franklin’s reputation as a dynamic cultural hub.
