Elm Street Construction Detour

Construction Detour Notice

Starting this week construction will begin on replacing water mains on Elm Street, and Partridge Street. This will require the closing of parts of the street, and make access from Lincoln Street, Partridge Street, and Shaw Street in Medway impassable at some times.

During the first phase traffic will be detoured around Georgia Drive, to Jeffrey Road, and Elm to Harborwood Drive. However once construction passes these roadways, local detours will no longer be possible. Alternative routes will include Winterberry Drive to Cranberry Drive, to Newell Drive, to Dover Circle and back out to Partridge Street, or via Village Street in Medway.

This project is expected to last several months. Police Officers and additional signage will be in place; however it will be best to plan ahead and avoid the area if possible as delays are likely.
