Concerts on the Common

Concerts on the Common is sponsored by the Franklin Recreation Department. We will run from June 26-August 14, skipping July 3. The 2026 Concerts on the Common schedule will be released on June 1, 2026. We will have food trucks, music and the farmers market. Portable restrooms are located in the Haywood Manor parking lot across the street from the stage side of the Town Common on Main Street. They are orange colored units. There is a handicapped accessible unit and three standand units.

History: The “Concerts On The Common” was originated by the following members in 1992…Christina Sprusansky, Eileen Mellor, Delia DeMase, Vilma Pascucci, Barbara Rondeau and Anne Brunelli

In 2019, the Recreation Department took over the planning and execution of the Concerts on the Common and moved it from Wednesday nights to Friday nights throughout the summer. The concerts continue to operate on Fridays 3:00-5:00pm (acoustic performances) and 5:30-7:30pm (full bands), in conjunction with the Farmers Market, which operates from 2:00-6:00pm from beginning of June through the end of October.
