  • Boating - Launch your canoe or boat from the Beaver Pond, Boat Launch on Beaver Street. Greens Pond on Washington Street is also a nice pond to canoe and fish. No motorboats allowed. DelCarte is now equiped with a boat launch for canoes as well.
  • Fishing - Licenses can be obtained from Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place
  • Hunting - Licenses can be obtained from Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place
  • Ice Skating - Pirelli Veterans Memorial Rink on Panther Way rents skates for public skating 508-541-7024.
  • Mountain Biking - Enjoy biking through Franklin's State and Town Forest. We have trail maps available for pickup at the Recreation Department.
  • Skateboarding - Strata Bank/YMCA Forge Hill Skateboard Park
  • Swimming - Chilson Beach located on Beaver Street. Open to Franklin residents only.
  • Weight Lifting and Exercise - Franklin has many weight training facilities: Planet Fitness 541-6880, The Adirondack Club541-1400 just to name a few
