You're Invited to the MetroWest Arts & Culture Symposium - May 14th, 2022
Calling all Creatives! The Franklin Cultural Council and Cultural District Committee invite you to attend the MetroWest Arts & Culture Symposium on May 14th at Franklin High School.
Attendees will be greeted with performances by the Franklin High School Jazz Band and String Ensemble prior to hearing from Michael Bobbitt, the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, who will be the keynote speaker for the event.
There will be two break out sessions. Participants can select two of the following sessions...
"Building Community Through the Arts” – ED, Hopkinton Center for the Arts, Kelly Grill
“Equity and Access in Arts & Culture” – Equity and Inclusion Officer, Mass Cultural Council, Cheyenne Cohn-Postell
“Sharing your Arts Identity on Social Media” – Franklin Matters, Social Media Practitioner, Steve Sherlock
“Festivals and Community Celebrations ” –Program Manager, Mass Cultural Council, Timothea Pham
There will be opportunities to network with and learn from other members of the creative community within Franklin and MetroWest. Birchwood Bakery Lunch will be provided at the event from Birchwood Bakery.
