Franklin Police Sergeant volunteers at camp for physical and developmental disabilities

Sergeant Johnson

During the third week of August every summer Sergeant Brian Johnson uses a week of vacation time to volunteer at a special camp in New Hampshire. The camp is called EC Week at Camp Fatima. The camp is staffed by over 250 volunteers, and provides every camper with their own counselor for the week. This was Sergeant Johnson's 29th year, and the camp invited over 170 exceptional citizens to join in a week long camping experience. There is no cost to the camper or their caregivers, as it is all paid for by private donations and fundraisers.

Boston 25 News came to camp and did a story on the amazing experience that the camp provides.
